ROHAN!!!

This is a testimonial to one of my best friends ever - Rohan Panikkar.

I've known him for almost 4 years now and i've always felt that it was fate that brought us together. We share a lot of common tastes such as a passion for Manchester United, good music and a love for books. Apart from these, he loves to play any sport, his favorite being Cricket. An ardent admirer of Sachin, he claims never to watch cricket again after sachin retires... truly a passionate fan! He loves to hang out with friends and eat junk stuff all the time..and of course, hates studies!...

But then, these are merely his interests...as a friend, he has always stuck by me ever since I wandered into this school and we have spent extremely enjoyable, albeit, unproductive days in each others' company. Many events come into my mind when I speak of time spent with this guy, the foremost being the holidays in which we get together at his house and play FIFA or just surf around...
He has a very good sense of humour and a peculiarly lovable laugh which he has bestowed upon those lucky ones who have been in his company for a long time ( namely me, anirudh, pawan.....gopal...although gopal could never seem to get a laugh out of this guy however hard he tried with his comical kidding around...).
...Oh, almost forgot...He has a wide range of words in his vocabulary which he is more than willing to share among his less fortunate buddies and it has had me standing in good stead for the moment...

We have spent a lot of time arguing and laughing and this has been amongst the best friendships one could possibly hope for... We have been constructive in shaping each others' character over the years and this has resulted in a truly fantastic journey ..

                                                                      R.P

Here's to our friendship ...

Cheers!!

Back after being in Exile!!

Yo...

Just a reminder in case everyone's forgotten me (Gautham, the weirdo genius )as I've been in exile with only my books for company.... :P

Well, as I am almost done with work for atleast 2 weeks, I am taking some time off to develop this piece of relic I call a blog. I didn't really give a hint about what I'm into nowadays, so I thought I would now...

I am what the onlooker would describe a typical geek, a term I would beg to differ with as you might be knowing from my previous post. At present, well, I'm just facebooking and mainly into an application called "Geo Challenge", in which I have stiff competition from my best buddy, Anirudh... We are always into a dead-lock with something or the other, the last being "Who has the biggest brain" which deteriorated into a kind of detente...However, the challenge is on and I am really enjoying this one... Apart from frolicking unproductively through the net, I have plans to start reading non-fiction... I am really into fantasy fiction at the present but I feel a change would be nice ...

Look out for the next blog ... you'll get a taste of my friends and the numerous ways in which they entice me into their company for which I am so thankful to...

Till then....

My First Post ... :) !!!

Hey all ...

Well, this is Gautham Ramchandran and this is my blog ... Basically, I've created this blog in order to pen down the ultra-myriad thoughts that flash by in my head every now and again before I can make head or tail of them... haha... well, thats enough of the immodest intro I think....

Let me really say something myself now... I live in Chennai, India . My main interests revolve around reading fantasy fiction, action, reality and non-fiction...Sports, well, I'm really into tennis, cricket, soccer, badminton, table tennis...the list is endless... I follow tennis, cricket and soccer on T.V and my sporting idols are Roger Federer, Adam Gilchrist, Steve Waugh, Wayne Mark Rooney, and Cristiano Ronaldo to name a few....

I am also a music-lover and my faves are AkoN, T-Pain, Linkin' Park, Black Eyed Peas, Poets of the Fall, Switchfoot, Timbaland, One Republic, Fort Minor, Maroon 5....to name a few... I also listen to hindi songs though my tastes are mainly focussed on English...

Apart from the extra-curriculars, I am considered a nerd by many of my year, a sentiment I most vehemently protest against owing to the fact that I love hanging out with friends and going out together which I have been doing since I joined my present school, hence, contradicting the initial feelings hidden behind the accusation...

Well, what else can I say about myself?... I'm just a crazy, fun-loving, active 15- year old who right now wishes that he doesn't have to get back to studying for his exams...

that's about all for the moment..

Cheerio!
